The Pet Master is a PDA, not for pets but to organize them. Instead of cluttering up your calendar or PDA with the appointments and play dates for your pet, you can store them separately, along with important phone numbers, like the vet. It has plenty of information about both cats and dogs, so it's great for all pet owners. The Pet Master has an alarm that will remind you of any scheduled events, a built-in pet shopping list and health facts, a list of pet-friendly hotels for traveling and emergency numbers - all pet-related, of course. There is even a frame built into the case which will allow you to tuck in a photo of man's best friend. It's only $29.95 and, in addition to doing something good for you and your own pet, a portion of the proceeds from each sale is donated to an animal charity.

Commited to bringing our readers the most innovative and unique products for pets and their owners, Unleash talks with Lisa Woody, owner of DogToysandTreats.com, an online dog accessory, supplies and treats store.
What inspired you to find a niche for such unique pet products?
It seemed that I saw the same old rubber balls, rope tugs and oval dog beds when I shopped for my dogs. Now and then, I would come across something really great, something that was a little different or better than what everyone else was carrying.

Even if you don't have pets, you've likely noticed how much more people are spending on their companion animals, and I don't just mean the vet, food, leashes, and litter. I'm talking about all the extras, such as carry bags, clothing, parties, day spas, etc. We've even mentioned on this site a number of expensive items you can purchase to indulge yourself, I mean, your pets. In fact, The American Pet Products Association reports that 2009 spending on pets hovers around $45.4 billion.

| 'Pooch Hotel' Offers Nation's Most Expensive Doggie Suites |
|
|
The Pooch Hotel in Sunnyvale CA is the nation's most expensive dog hotel, with their priciest "Palace Suites" coming in at a steep $100 per night per pet. Even if they share a room.
The premise is that pets are like children to many families and so the idea of leaving them behind to wallow in stress and misery while rest of the family vacations just isn't an option. Pooch Hotel offers several different levels of accommodations: the Palace Suites measure 12' x 10' or 20' x 15' for $100/night, Presidential Suites are 9' x 9' for $75/night, and Junior Suites run 5' x 7' for $50/night.
