The Hottest Hounds in Birmingham Premier Party
Written by Carlton Wade

DSC 0507 More than 200 proud dog owners and their furry, four-legged friends gathered in the lobby of the Aloft Hotel on Nov 11th to celebrate the recent premier of one of the most-talked-about dog related books to hit the shelves, The Hottest Hounds in Birmingham.

The pampered pooches were treated like royalty for a night of fun, food and unforgettable fancy. In partnership with the Animal League of Birmingham, the event was complete with red carpet treatment for the cuddly canines, "puparrazzi" photographs and even a dog treat bar.   "There was not a dog treat left at the end of the night" said Cassie Moore, publisher of The Hottest Hounds in Birmingham. "It was really a whole lot of fun. We appreciate everybody coming out. We had a ball."

The book is a picturesque publication shot by talented photographer Anne Wade Parrish. It features pristine pups in classic black-and-white quality images.  They stroll through the park with their owners, hard at play or just relaxing under the sun.

5% of sales from each book will be donated to the Animal League of Birmingham. Check out pics from the event below.

Dogs turn in circles before lying down because in the wild this instinctive action turns long grass into a bed.
