Some folks say that a lot can be told about a person by their pet of choice. And this rings true in the uncompromising career of Spanish Harlem-born, Queens-raised rapper Joe Budden.
After years of rising through the ranks of New York’s venomous mixtape circuit, Budden’s rags to riches tale is nothing short of the determined nature of his blue-nosed Pit Bull Harlem. And his steady but uncanny rise to fame is as rare as his Italian-bred Cane Corso Mastiff named Brooklyn.
Now a celebrated Internet personality and member of hip hop super group Slaughterhouse along with Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5’9, Budden recently inked a deal with multi-platinum rapper Emimem’s Shady Records imprint. But when the admitted dog enthusiast is not on the road touring or in the studio lighting up the vocal booth, Budden is busy getting down and dirty with two of closest friends.
