 Not doggie heaven, but not far from it, Paradise Ranch is an exclusive dog country club that offers all the amenities and activities that a person would receive, except these facilities are reserved just for out pets! Located in California there is a place that is like paradise for dogs, north of Burbank in Sun Valley, California lies the Paradise Ranch Pet Resort. The ranch is the first Cage-Free “home environment” Pet kennel. This means that instead of the cages, and foreign environments of other kennels, the Paradise Resort provides it's guests the same rooms that you might expect of a human home.
Paradise Ranch was Founded by Kristyn Goddard. Her Idea was born from her experience in running an old fashioned kennel 15 years ago. She was new to the kennel business, but she could see that the dogs were unhappy staying in the cages. She asked her husband if he would allow them to open their house to the dogs so that they could stay in a more home-like environment,
but her husband objected to the idea on the grounds that the dogs would become unruly, and fight. Kristyn pressed her husband and said that they would "evaluate" the dogs and charge an extra $20 for the home environment. within a month, the house was full and the cages were empty. The plan was a success, and they moved the business from Texas to California and opened the ranch.
The upscale resort has also become a favorite place for many celebrities. Brendan Fraser, Penelope Cruz, and Halle Berry have had their animal friends stay and relax while they are out on vacation or shooting films. The full service paradise ranch has high class amenities like massages, a pool, training services, and a full-service grooming spa! With all these luxury items, paradise ranch is expected to be a bit exclusive, as all owners and pets need to be evaluated before they are allowed a room at this puppy palace.
